He believes passionately in the value of open debate and dialogue in constructing freer societies. He's spent time working for the American Enterprise Institute, the Permanent Mission of India to the UN, and CNN. He hopes to move into consulting after graduation. VICE PRESIDENT | HUNTER NASH
Hunter is a junior in the College of Arts and Science studying Public Policy on a Pre-Med track, and is the Vice President of Events for The Review and Debates at NYU. In his spare time, you can find him listening to podcasts in the Park or quoting his favorite philosophers, from Tony Soprano to Louis CK.
EDITOR-IN-CHIEF | MARY AKDEMIR
Mary is a junior studying Philosophy and Global Liberal Studies. Her areas of interest surround the status of indigenous minorities in the Middle East, with a focus on human rights violations and endangered language preservation. When she's not busy re-reading that article you just submitted to The Review, she's probably blaring the music of an unfortunately named lo-fi indie band to the dismay of everyone around her.
OUTREACH DIRECTOR | GABRIELLA SANCHEZ-COREA
Gabriella is a sophomore studying Media, Culture, and Communication with a minor in Producing. She handles the club’s outreach through our mailing list and Facebook page. She deals with the miracle that is MailChimp, and then de-stresses with hot coffee and a Sudoku puzzle.
TREASURER | DEEPAK WARRIER
Deepak, a freshman reading Global Liberal Studies and Economics, believes that informed discourse makes for vibrant societies. When he is not managing the club’s finances, he likes to go on bike rides around the city. An ardent lover of coffee, he is seldom seen without a cup of joe in hand.
SECRETARY | JENNIFER DUBOIS
Jenny is a sophomore studying Economics and Computer Science. As secretary, she handles the club's administrative tasks. She has a tough time deciding between pretending to understand algorithmic trading on Reddit, napping, or scrolling through memes.
